Abelia x grandiflora 'Kaleidoscope'
'Kaleidoscope' is a compact, rounded, semi-evergreen, shrub with arching branches bearing ovate, glossy, yellow and green variegated leaves turning shades of orange and red in autumn and, in summer, terminal panicles of pink buds opening to fragrant, funnel-shaped, white flowers.
Plant in autumn or spring in well-drained soil, in a sheltered site in full sun. Best planted against a wall or in a full bed where neighboring shrubs provide shelter. Will reach a height of 1m and a spread of 1.5m after 5-10 years.
